When you use your debit card online, you may be asked to verify the transaction before it’s approved. This extra step makes it much harder for fraudsters to use your card without your permission.
How It Works:
When you shop online with your debit card:
- A 3D Secure screen will appear asking you to verify the purchase.
- Enter your card details at checkout as usual.
- You will authenticate using a one-time code sent to your email.
- Once verified, your transaction will be processed.

Not every purchase will require verification—low-risk transactions may not trigger the 3D Secure check.
Additionally, and as part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding your account and personal information, we strongly recommend that you enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your email account. 2FA provides an additional layer of protection by requiring a verification code alongside your password during login.
